I’m Andrew Lorimer, and I bring 46 years of professional musicianship and multidisciplinary production experience to every project.
As a keyboard player I’ve performed live and in the studio with Simon Kaos, Prism, The Head Pins, Toronto, Zen Archer, The Cheez Bros., Cory Feldman’s Truth Movement and more recently, the band "Monday's Gone". I spent six years as a professional Elton John impersonator and have been a touring and studio session musician for numerous artists and performers since 1981.
I opened a recording studio in 1990 and have produced countless independent artists and singers, overseeing arrangements, tracking and final mixes. In 2001 I expanded into graphic design for print and web, and later created an online visual piano learning app that blends my teaching and tech interests (thevirtualpiano.com).
I handled all audio and video production, graphic design and web work for six seasons of Valley Idol and six seasons of the Vancouver Island Music Business Conference. For the last 11 years I’ve worked full time as a graphic designer at Eby’s Business Services, combining creative design, audio expertise and production management to deliver polished, audience‑ready results.
